A factory worker is a professional responsible for performing manual and operational tasks in industrial environments, contributing directly to the production of goods and products. Their duties may vary depending on the sector and type of factory, but generally include:
Main duties of a Factory Worker:
- Operating and monitoring machines: Uses and supervises industrial equipment to ensure the correct functioning of production lines.
- Assembling products: Assembles parts and components, following instructions and quality standards.
- Packaging and labelling: Packages finished products, applies labels and prepares them for shipping or storage.
- Quality control: Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet specifications.
- Basic maintenance: Assist in the preventive maintenance of machines and equipment, as well as keeping the work environment clean and organised.
- Record keeping: Documents production information, such as quantity produced, any faults or machine downtime.
Work safety: Strictly follows safety regulations, using personal protective equipment and contributing to a safe environment.
